VISMG: Certifying Documents

Visa and migration

[ Certifying Documents ] 

To avoid unnecessary delay, please do not approach the Australian Consulate-General for certifying documents. If documents are required to be certified, they can be done by one of the following authorities:

 

Notaries Public;

   

Solicitors, Barristers or Judges currently registered to practice in Australia or your current country of residence;

   

Justices of the Peace - authorised in Australia or your current country of residence;

   

Commissioners for Oaths - authorised in Australia only;

   

Managers and designated officers of Australian Banks in your current country of residence;

   

Australian Registered Accountants (i.e. members of ASCPA or ICAA); 

   

Registered Doctors and Nurses in your current country of residence;

   

Certified Public Accountants in your current country of residence;

   
Registered migration agent (whose registration is not suspended or subject to a caution).    

 

 

Each copy must be endorsed:

"This is a true and complete copy of the original".
